Fitted Interiors & Media Walls

Storage should fit the room rather than fight it. The fitted interiors in this gallery were designed, built and finished by our own joiners for homes in Chelmsford and across Essex: alcove cupboards, floating shelves, wardrobes, window seats and full media walls with recessed televisions and inset electric fires.

Every piece starts with a survey of the room itself. We scribe carcasses to out-of-true walls, conceal cabling and sockets behind the joinery, and build in LED strip lighting where it earns its place. Doors and panels are sprayed or hand-painted for a furniture-grade finish, with shaker detailing, fluted panels or clean flat fronts to suit period and contemporary interiors alike.

Because the same team handles the electrics, plastering and decoration around the joinery, the finished piece looks as though it has always been part of the room. Fitted work like this often forms part of a wider project through our general renovation service, though we are just as happy building a standalone media wall or a pair of alcove units.
